Dance! (The start to the true era of the board)

Hey guys! I'm hoping everyone still wants to RP because I do! Anyway, grab a char and join in so we can start the friend-making!

Kimmimela walked into the main courtyard of Mac Anu. It had been a while since she had stretched her digital legs, and she felt like going for a walk.

She looked at her friends list, but no one was online. Phooey. Oh well. Wait, what's going on here?

She looked over, and saw a small commotion going on. A man was holding up a very interesting looking black box. And then it clued into her what it was – a radio! People were bidding on it, and though she had no interest in it she ran over to see how much it was selling for.

Fifty!

Sold, for One hundred fifty!

Wow. 150. For a music box. But don't people listen to music anyway as they play this game? I never listen to the background music..

But then the guy who won it slammed on the play button. The beat was awesome, and she couldn't help tapping as the catchy tune replaced the normally dreary music of Mac Anu. She muted her iTunes playlist just to hear it better.

Funny thing was, people started dancing. She never figured people would bother doing such a simple social activity when they could be out grinding, but there they were. And, feeling free for once in her life in this game where she could be whoever she wanted, she joined in. Her shimmery robes and sparkly jewlry caught the sun and as she danced around, many gave her awesome looks as the Macabre Dancer showed the true talent of the class.

Camax teleported into mac anu for the first time in a while. he had been out from the game recently on account of being bed ridden in a hospital from some injuries incurred trying a 1080 Melancholy flip in the half pipe on his snowboard. The trick had looked perfect in the air (or so his publicist told him) but on landing his board snapped and a few of his bones with it. The heavy beat of the music drifted up from the courtyard near the fountain and Camax raised an eyebrow.

Well, I guess it might be better to start with some light activity, get used to the feel of the game again before delving into any kind of monster killing. And knowing Sheppard it'd be easiest to find him wherever there's a party going on.

Camax started down the pathway to the fountain and soon could see the little gathering of people that was steadily growing as more and more people caught wind of the party. Camax strode into the center of the mix and leaned against the hard rock edge of the fountain.

Camax opened his inventory and selected an item. Wondrous Firework. The thin rod jumped from his hand and leaped high into the air, where it exploded in a manner true to its name. The blast was made up of red, green, and yellow, and it exploded into the shape of a goblin. Camax put up his Shop flag and put the rest of his fireworks in the sell catagory. This way people who wanted one could just buy it without having to open up a trade.

And GLDIATOR can use the proceedings to buy that new guild bank expansion.

Camax jumped up on top the edge of the fountain and cupped his hands around his mouth.

"Fireworks: 50 a piece!"
