Meress slowly down the hall of a dimly lit dungeon. He had been doing this for about 20 minutes now and wasn't getting far. He could just change the code to brighten the place up, but he knew admins were watching. So, like every other player, he played the game as it was meant to be. Looking as far ahead as possible he saw a smaller PC. Most likely a young kid who just started. At 1st he thought nothing about it. It was only a newbie trying to level up. Then he saw how weakened the kid was. He had been playing around with a strong monster. Well too strong for a newbie at least.
As he got closer the monster made itself clear as day when it stepped out from behind a wall. Quickly pulling out his pistol Meress aimed in case he was the target.
If I'm not careful I could be killed. Wait... that monster is actually a lower level then me. I'd have only little trouble fighting him. That kid on the other hand.
"Stupid newbies"
The monster went in for an attack on the kid. Meress fired three shots. two missed but one hit. That made the monster turn to him. Now he's done it. The monster charged at him. Using a large axe-like weapon the monster swung down at Meress. Suddenly a shield appeared around him blocking the attack and throwing the monster off balance. The perfect moment for him to attack. The shield disappeared and Meress jumped upward aiming his gun to the monster's head. He fired a good 10 rounds into the face of that monster before it disappeared. |
