The bright sunlight of California shown down upon the headquarters of Cyber Connect Corporation and staff inside busied themselves setting up the final details. Coming directly in from the large rotary doors there was a magnificent lobby for all the players to mingle in and chat. The floor was a highly polished marble and the walls were covered in weathered leather. On either end of the room were large spiral staircases with fancy railings that led up to the next floor. The staircase on the right led to an area for people who had already registered online, there they could pickup their gift bag and the staircase on the left led to a similar area for people who had yet to buy tickets (though there were a limited number of remaining tickets available). The gift bags handed out to every member were leather messenger bags filled with little goodies. Each bag contained an event program, a name tag, meal tickets for lunch and dinner, a T-shirt, a hat, and a random plushie (Mecha grunty, various monsters, and famous arena players are a few examples).Past these two registration rooms there were long hallways that looped around and met together before opening into a large reception area with a wide variety of displays. There were booth babes and hunks, demos for upcoming CCCorp games, open PC's to log on and check your character, and even small mini games like ring toss and such to win other small merchandise pieces. Inside each program was a list of events. To begin there would be a welcoming ceremony by the design team of the game, after that would be a few hours to mingle and see the booths, then there were in game events that you could sign up for (scavenger hunts, PvP, races, that kind of thing) after those would be an FAQ to the designers of the games and to end it all off there was a secret announcement and event to close off the wonderful night. One of the attendants in the main room looked to the large marble clock on the wall and adjusted her skirt, the front doors would be opening in 10 minutes, and there was already a very long lineup formed outside the main entrance (some of them had arrived last night and slept on the sidewalk...or not at all!)
