Yesterday the Cyber Connect Corporation headquarters in San Diego, California was attacked by malicious software. Cyber Connect Corporation is the creator of the popular online game [The World]. As of yet no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Cyber Connects has issued a statement that they will prosecute the culprit to the full extent of the law. Insider sources say the software temporarily shutdown Cyber Connect's [The World] servers, and that when the staff finally got them back up and running, that there were traces of information theft from said servers. Cyber connect refused to answer questions pertaining to the stolen information.

Man, whoever did that has guts. Dumb as a post for trying, but you gotta admire the determination.
Best question is why though? I mean, alot of crackers try it to test themselves out or for laughs, but CC Corp? Bad mojo...

I wonder what kind of data they took... I hope it wasn't anything personal like names and address'. Oh no, what if they got my my credit card info! That'd be bad.
