Peaceful
It was the best word that XIII could come up with to describe this place. It had a peacefulness and beauty that XIII couldn't find in other lost grounds.
Some of the other places are just plain creepy...
Right now she was the only one there. She decided to take the little time she had alone to enjoy the scenery for a bit. While she walked toward the front of the cathedral, the click of her heels on the polished marble floor echoed throughout the large, empty room. She was sure that she probably would have been able to hear a dime drop on the opposite end of the room.
When she finally reached the end of the pews, she stopped and looked up. From where she stood she was bathed in the sunlight that was streaming through the stain glass window and spilling out onto the marble floor, lighting up everything around it.
I wonder if MeressXIII will actually show. I know I certainly wouldn't come running just because some idiot e-mailed me, telling me to go a lost ground.
XIII was still fuming over that idiotic move. When her latest client had come to her for help, the moron said that he'd already set up a time and place, and that all XIII needed to do was be there at the right time.
XIII had made sure that they were aware of how stupid they were. Not only had he received a suspicious e-mail that just screamed that it was a trap, not only was this e-mail sent by someone that MeressXIII probaby knew that he had pissed off at some point, not only was this basically the worst plan ever, there was the simple fact that XIII never PKed anyone without watching them first. At least, not for business purposes. Frankly, if it hadn't been for the amount of gold she was being offered, she would have just refused outright.
Why would someone offer that much gold just to kill someone that will just log off and come back later. I wonder if all the gold he's offering me is actually legal. Maybe he glitched or something. If he's the sort that would work with a hacker in the first place, you never really know...
XIII sighed heavily and crossed her arms, looking up to the stained glass window
Oh well. Since my plans are completely ruined, I might as well meet the guy first...If he shows up that is.
