Kimimela walked up to the quest shop, like she did every day to check to see if there were any new quests available. Today, there was one new quest. The title read “Search for the secret ingredient”. The description was she had to find a certain fruit in a dungeon and retrieve it for the cook. She went up to the counter and talked to the Quest manager. "What is the reward for this quest?"
"If your guild is level three or higher, the cook will add this recipe to your mini-bar food menu. It's quite good, and if you aren't part of a guild you retain the key item for later." Kim hummed in interest. I'm not part of a guild, but when I am I might be able to bring this with me. "I'll take it!"
"All right, now are you taking anybody with you?"
Kim thought for a moment, and then sent short mail to her two new battle friends: Storm Sheppard and Calligatio. They're both online and not busy, so they should come. "One second while I get my friends," she said to the Quest manager.

Storm Sheppard was enjoying the sun set in a certain lost ground that he visited rather frequently for it's never ending twilight. It was a good way to pass the few hours where he wasn't enjoying a drink at the guild or trying to fend Camax off with a pointy scythe. He hadn't even told his overly strong and protective friend about this place, preferring to go uninterrupted during his more laconic times. He was lazily leaning on an ancient ruined stair case that had become something more closely related to a coffee table when he received the short mail. Hmm? Quest eh? He thought as he put on a smile in place of his rather dreary eyed glare. Well, it has been some time since I've done a job for one of those little npc fellows. He stood up and made a brisk pace to the warp point, the green glowing sphere mixed with the dark hues of the sunset. He took one last glance at the never moving sun before the blue rings pulled him off to Mac Anu.
GWAAA! Storm Sheppard yelled as he came out of the warp point near the quest shop at a full speed lunge. He had done some experimentation and found that you come out of the warp point the same way you went in, just facing the other direction. When he had used the warp point near the chaos gate, he had jumped from the stairs and dove for the green sphere, activating it at the last second. He rolled on the ground and came to his feet in a rather impressively swift and fluid motion only a few feet from Kimimela. He was wearing a cock-eyed grin and gave the woman a full on bear hug. KIM! Nice ta see you again! I'm all set to go gouge the eyes of our enemies and forsake the ground upon which they fall in the grand scheme of picking fruit! He said with all too much enthusiasm.

Caligatio had just logged in at the entrance to the chaos gate dome when she received the shortmail from Kim. Just as she had finished reading it Storm Sheppard had bolted by, diving for the green warp gate and disappearing in a swirl of color. Cali turned on her heals and followed him through. When she warped in behind him Sheppard had just finished his roll and was hugging Kimimela. Cali jumped onto Sheppard's back and climbed up his clothing until she sat comfortably on his shoulders and wrapping her hands around one of his Mohawk spikes to keep herself upright.
"Hey guys! and so the Pwetty People are Weunited!" Cali giggled at her purposeful mispronunciation of her R's and gave Kim a thumbs up. "I feel like I'm an Iron Chef! So lets find that secret ingredient! Is everyone ready? Sheppy? Sparkles?"

Kimimela went “Oof” As she received the bear hug from Sheppard. “Wow, that was quick!” She said, looking at both Sheppard and now Calligatio as well. “I'm ready to go! The area words are “∆ Sacred Forbidden Fruit. I checked it out and there are a few different islands and even a boss at the end. I'm assuming that's where the fruit are guarded. It's a high level for me, though, so I'm glad you are both coming. I wouldn't be able to do it alone. She smiled. “To the Chaos Gate!” She said with enthusiasm and headed through the green transport to the Dome. As she went, she invited both Sheppard and Cali into her party. Once they accepted, she warped to the area.

I like parties. He grinned, looking out as Kimimela vanished into the orb of green light. He quickly agreed to join her party, unused to being in somebody else’s party. Usually he was the one at the head of the charge, but it felt refreshing to be in the back seat again. Let’s go. He grinned, skipping off to the chaos gate. He wanted to enjoy his little walk about with Kimimela and Caligatio, so he resolved to do as little of the fighting as possible.Coming? He said, looking back at the little school girl before vanishing into the air at the little green orb in the corner.
