A character began to load and log in, the lovely 'bloob bloob' sound, the flashing blue color as he finally loaded in. "Right. Season 2." He said to himself. He was getting back into the flow of the game. "So wait...can I just go to the field, without coming to Mac Anu? Tssk. Whatever. I'm going to explore first." He quickly stepped down the stairs, and pushed open the doors. He blinked, and squinted his eyes, the virtual sun giving momentarily blindness. "Ow...Still seems the same thing as before..." He sighed, walking forward, eyes scanning the bridge. He reached the middle of the bridge, and looked around. He did a quick inventory check, and then looked at where he came from. "Nah..." He continued crossing the bridge, and then finally reached the fountain. He sat down next to it, closing his eyes, going afk, momentarily.

"Um... hello? ex-excuse me. I don't mean to be a bother but... have you by any chance seen a large Lord Partisan around? he has green eyes, and a firey red mane... he's a lion looking beast man?"
Caligatio held her hand our above her head as high as she could reach to indicate height, straining on her tiptoes with her diminutive stature. The town bustled around her for a moment as she stared at Tatsuya andwaited for a response. She had been at this all day and by now people were starting to give her funny looks as they passed by, some even whispered under their breath or laughed or laughed as they walked by. Cali placed her hands on her hips and gave a pout turning to face a group of passing players. She stuck out her tongue and pulled down on her lower left eyelid with her index finder.
"Mnuuuuuu."

Link reestablished. Away status changed to Online
Tatsuya blinked, as he looked up and saw a girl, standing on her tiptoes, trying to...reach above her head.
"Um...what? Sorry...I went afk. What was your question? I logged in few moments ago. and such"
He stood up, brushing off his jacket, and rubbed his eyes. He looked around. "I'm still in Mac Anu, right?" He muttered to himself as he confirmed it. He looked back at the girl, and blinked again.
"Oh. Where are my manners...I'm Tatsuya. Nice to meet you...miss...."
He gave an ever so gracious bow, and then stood back up. He heard laughter from players passing by, walking through Mac Anu, and glanced at them. Though he knew he could do nothing...right now anyway.

Caligatio spun around from facing the people she had been makking faces at, almost jumping at the sound of the voice. She had been so involved in making her facial comeback to the strangers that she had almost forgot that he was there
"O-Oh. My apologies Mr. Tatsuya. How rude of me! My name is Caligatio; it's a pleasure to meet you!"
She gave a small curtsey and tilted her head to one side with a petite smile, her eyes squinting in the bright sun.
"And yes, you are indeed still in Mac Anu! City of canals and sunshine!"
Cali moved to sit on the edge of the fountain next to Tatsuya, leaning back and trailing her fingers through the water.
"So Mr. Tatsuya. What bring you to Mac Anu? Adventures? Commerce? RIBBONS!?"
Cali's eyes almost glittered at this last mention... she always had a weird obsession with cosmetic pieces, or anything that changed your character appearance in [The World].

Tatsuya blinked, and chuckled.
"Totally ribbons. But actually...Adventure really. Find some goblins, maybe do a low level dungeon. Maybe go to the famous cathedral.
He gave a sigh, and a low yawn, as his feet began to move around idly, as the virtual time passed by.
"That or explore, Mac Anu. Haven't been here for a while. And...what not. I don't know. Maybe just listen to the music, or learn about guilds, and set up a shop. Lots to do, but i don't know what to do." He rubbed his head.

Cali listened intently as her new acquaintance listed off the multitude of things to do. It was true, there was a wide array of sights, adventurers, and people to see and be had. But it was at the mention of exploring the city they currently resided in that her ears perked up the most.
"Ooohhhh, how about a gondola ride?! I have been around the city much. I spend most of my time in the fields so I don't really know that much about the city. We could take a gondola ride and pretend to be pirates!"
At this she jumped up. Balancing herself on the edge of the fountain and pretend to flourish an invisible rapier, she was so enamored by the idea the she didn't pay close enough attention to her footing and she began to lose her balance failing wildly to regain it she teetered precariously between falling on the hard stone plaza or into the ornate fountain.

He smirked and chuckled, the idea...of being pirates. He watched her, as she pretended to be a pirate on the fountain, only to apparently start to lose her balance. Tatsuya reacted fast enough, and grabbed her by the arm, to hold her from falling into the fountain or the hard stone.
Very well. Let's become...pirates. We'll have to start, by taking one! He said.
With that, he pulled Caligula along as he ran over to the bridge. He looked over the railing, and grinned. "Sweet...here comes one right now..." He readied himself, climbing onto the edge of the bridge...waiting patiently.

Cali breathed a visible sigh of relief as her new friend reached out and stabilized her balance, she listened as he agreed that she had had a great plan, and her eyes lit up as he mentioned come needing a gondola. As Tatsuya bolted off Cali's small frame was easily dragged along by the arm, her light body almost being lifted horizontal by the force of being tugged from her place of the fountain. When they came to a stop at the edge of a bridge she stood up on her tiptoes and leaned over the railing as far as he diminutive frame would allow.
Thats...a really far drop...
She thought to herself as she swallowed hard. She had never been good with heights, even in the game, they made her head spin.
As the boat underneath approached she spotted Tatsuya preparing the jump out of the corner of her eye and steeled her resolve. She closed her eyes and took the leap, falling towards the water below. She impacted the boat with a thud, landing on her rear and gave a quite wince. The two people sharing the gondola blinked and stated in shock.
"A-avast! Ye l-land lubbers! This be our ship now!"
She spoke a little softly for a swash buckling pirate, tripping over the words as she looked for the confidence to force these two from the boat, she looked up to the railing looking for Tatsuya.

The first thing Tatsuya did, before even jumping down onto that gondola was...facepalm himself. He looked down below at Caligula, and jumped down on the gondola before it got any farther away. He landed cautiously, on one knee, and stood back up. Uh...oh...right act like a pirate.
"Argh! This be our ship now! We're pirates, we shall be confiscating yer bootay!" He held out own his fake rapier, holding the two people hostage. "Leave thy goods, and get ye another boat, ya scallywags!"
I'm either really drunk...or crazy right now. He thought himself.

With the arrival of her friend, Caligatio's confidence took a much needed jump, it was a lot easier to be a fake pirate when you weren't the only one playing at it. She clambered to her feet, the boat rocking uneasily as she did, and drew her make believe rapier as well. Holding the players at sword point.
"Oh, OH! Can we make them walk the plank!"
She asked looking at Tatsuya, before looking back to their hostages and exclaiming;
"hurry it up ye sea dogs! Or it's Davey Jones locker you'll be sleepin' in tonight!"
The pair they had ambushed just stood there blinking unbelievably, unable to fully process exactly what had just happened, they looked at each other with a puzzled look before turning back to the piratey pair and slowly raising their hands above their heads, slowly; as if unsure it was the proper course of action.

He looked over at Cali, and gave a shrug. He kept eyes on the two hostages.
"Argh! You heard the lad! Walk the plank! Ye scurvy scoundrels!"
He knew about piracy, but this is the kind of piracy he DIDN'T like to do. Really. Luckily it's just a great MMO game, where most of his friends didn't come online.
Tatsuya gave a sigh, but kept his invisible rapier up, and pointing at the hostages. He spat into the water, and then indicated it.
"Now mateys. We don't have all day! Jump into the water, or Davey Jones has a special place in his locker for ye two. Or else, my mate here will just do it herself. Argh."

The pair looked at each other slowly, then back to the pair of would be pirates. The man of the pair, a tall fellow with bright green eyes, mid length brown hair, and a wave tattoo covering his left arm, suddenly got a gleam in his eye. As it turnes out, they had tried to hijack the exact wrong (or right depending on how you look at it) boat!
"You'll never take me ship while i still draw breath! Have at ye!"
The man exclaimed as he suddenly drew an imaginary blade of his own. His female friend let out a chuckle as he placed himself between her and the scallywags who had dropped from the sky.
Caligatio's face grew into a big grin as this happened. Never had she thought that anyone would play along with her act.
oooh! this is getting exciting!
"A Righteous swashbuckler eh? we'll lets see how you fair in a duel of blades, Taste steel!"
with this she began to emulate sword fighting motions in the air, clashing imaginary blades against this most peculiar of bystanders.
