[li]Picture Reference: Telarian
[/li][li]Character Name:: Telarian
[/li][li]Class: Adept Rouge- Harvest Cleric (unlocked) and Twin Blade
[/li][li]Characters apparent Age: 21
[/li][li]Characters Gender: Male
[/li][li]Characters Hair Color: Blond
[/li][li]Characters Eye Color: Blue
[/li][li]Character Height: 5'11"
[/li][li]Character Weight: 151
[/li][li]Character Clothing Style: Telarian wears a high collared white Mandarin-style tunic. The trim of the tubic alternates between dark grey and slate blue. The front cuts off right above the belly button, exposing Telarian's midriff while the back extends into a sort of a cape that reaches the back of his knees. Tightly snug on his hips is a pair of black jeans that tuck into black combat boots. Over his shoulders is a large fur-trimmed white cloak that covers his entire body. Swirling light blue patterns cover the cloak, reminding one of a peaceful snowy day.
[/li][li]Character Physical Traits: He is tall and skinny, though not so much so, with soft blond hair that falls over his eyes and clear blue eyes that always seem to be twinkling. Telarian has pale skin and a slightly boyish face. Despite his skinny frame, Telarian has some wiry muscles underneath his clothing. Though he is tall, he slightly slouches in on himself, making him seem less threatening.
[/li][li]Characters Personality: He is very soft spoken and gentle in The World, preferring to lurk in low level areas and look at the scenery instead of fighting. Telarian is kind to everyone, whether they PK or not and is often willing to heal anyone in need. Suffice to say that his pacifist nature tends to get him PKed often, but he never really seems to mind. He always helps when asked and likes to give advice to others if they need it and even if they don't. Telarian tends to lecture very insistently at others and can be rather overbearing at times. No matter what he always speaks very properly, even when being insistent and PK'd.
[/li][li]Fighting Style: Surprisingly, Telarian is rather vicious when fighting, despite his class and likes smacking people and monsters with his staff. If he is faced with an enemy he cannot defeat, he flees using a smoke screen. When in a party, Telarian is always casting recovery spells and buffers to help the players actually fighting.
[/li][li]Strengths: Like any other cleric, Telarian has high magical defense, SP and decent magical attack. Unlike other clerics, Telarian actually has a decent defense stat due to being an adept rouge and a pretty high speed stat that's perfect for running from monsters.
[/li][li]Weaknesses: His physical attack leaves a lot to be desired and though his defense is higher than other clerics, Telarian is still very fragile and a few hits will easily do him in. As with any spellcaster, his spells take time to cast and anyone fast enough can easily interrupt his spells.

[/li][li]History: Katherine Salinas was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Kaya and Roberto Salinas, a very happy couple ecstatic over the birth of their daughter. Their son, 3 year old Joesph, wasn't as excited at the attention being off him, but he liked having a playmate so he made Kat his second in command in all of his schemes. The Salinas were a very tight knit family and Kat grew up very loved. However, her family was very traditional in which the women did all of the chores around the house and were subservient to the men. She hated being second fiddle and although her mother and grandmother tried to keep her content, Kat was never appeased. However out of duty to her family, she became well versed in all kinds homemaking activities.
She was never happy with washing her brother's disgusting socks so she threw herself into school. She joined every club she could and tried out for any sport she could and those she couldn't. Katherine wasn't happy with any of them until she joined her middle school computer club. Her computer club buddies were all raving about a game called The World and while at school she created her very first character, Telaria the Wavemaster. For her 12th birthday, she managed to get a personal computer and her hobby became an obsession. She was introduced to the hacking subculture and managed to illegally hack her character PC into something super cool. Telaria had scores of rare items and was so high leveled, but some of her computer club friends started falling into comas. Luckily nothing ever happened to her but then the Second Network Crisis hit and she lost everything.
The whole infrastructure of Hawaii fell apart and while Kat's accounts fell apart, her mother was in a car accident. Her car and the car of another driver had collided head on and both drivers were unable to be saved. Katherine was very affected by the death of her mother and fell into depression. Later on, she entered high school and at the urging of her brother, joined their computer club. She got even better at computer codes and found friends that understood her. It was where she met Zhi Agaio, a senior and a member of the computer club. He mostly kept to himself so it was a surprise when he approached her with a theorem he was having trouble with.
They never did solve it but due to the time spent working together, Zhi and Kat became close friends. Then, when she was a sophmore in college, Zhi sent her an invitation to join him in The World R:2. She declined and focused on her studies. A few months later she got an email from Zhi talking about strange monsters and, intrigued, she went to his apartment to find him in a coma. According to the doctor, it was a case of Doll Syndrome but to Katherine it sounded like what happened seven years ago. Every day she visited him in the hospital and a few days after he awoke, they became engaged. They were married the same year and by the next, they welcomed their first son. Katherine continued to take classes while Zhi worked and by the birth of her next son, she had graduated. She was quickly hired by a video game company as a programmer but had to be out on maternity leave due to her most recent pregnancy.
Since she has no current projects besides house making, Katherine has recently started to use her freetime to play The World again.
.Role Playing Information|:.
[/li][li]Sample RP
"Oh dear, look what I have gotten myself into..." Telarian muttered, looking at the large red colored beast. He could feel it's beady black eyes boring into his own and was sure he saw unbridled rage there. He knew that going into an area with monsters five levels higher than his own was a mistake, but he had to get some rare items! The heavy armor was mostly for trading, so many players liked trading with him since armor was expensive at the npc and guild shops. He mostly asked for healing items in return, making others feel good at ripping off a noob but Telarian had plenty of GP.
"Umm, nice lion monster... Good lion monster.. I am afraid I am all out of smoke screens so how about you just let me go?" He asked, flashing what he hoped was a winning smile. Unfortunately the lion didn't think so. With a loud roar it lunged right at Telarian, who cringed and braced himself for the worst. A moment passed and he still wasn't dead, so Telarian opened one eye and then another. He saw that the monster was engaging another player in fierce combat. Glad that the aggro was off him, he ran up and have a few hard whacks with his staff. It didn't do much, but he had to help his savior.
Soon, with barely any help from him, the monster was dead and Telarian had gotten a bunch of XP. He turned to his rescuer, who happened to be a pretty female Tribal Grappler. "Thank you kind lady, for you have saved this humble cleric from a terrible fate. I am forever in your debt," he said with a flourish and a deep bow. The grappler laughed, "Are you a noob? This is a high level field for you!" Telarian smiled and nodded his head. "Alas, I was captivated by the beautiful scenery and rare items in this area. I just could not wait until I was the appropriate level," he mused.
The grappler seemed amused at his antics and offered to let him follow her around. They couldn't create a party in an area, but following each other around was okay. He kept to the sidelines while she fought the monsters, healing her every so often. Soon they made their way to the beast temple after getting all of the symbol fragments and came to an impasse. "My dear lady, you should open the treasure chest. You have been so kind to assist me in my time of need, please take it."
"Nah it's probably something you can use since you're a noob and all. I can always come back and get it again," she said. When Telarian declined yet again, she let out a sigh of irritation. "You know, I was actually being really nice. I was going to let you take the item before I PK'd you so you'd feel better but now I'm just going to do it!!" Telarian barely had the time to react before his health was depleted in a few quick hits.
Katherine sighed as she took off her M2D as the game over screen flashed across her eyes. "I knew that was a PKer as soon as I saw her," she said, getting out of her comfortable chair with a little difficulty. "I'm not stupid, no-one in The World helps people just for the sake of it anymore. I wish they would ban it already, like in R:1." She left the computer room and headed towards the master bedroom, where both her boys were still taking their afternoon nap, all cuddled together in the blankets. "Might as well join them," Kat yawned, snuggling right next to them. "I'll play some more later..."
