This man is hardcore to the extreme, and I believe he deserves a fanclub. If you've never heard of him he's from a trilogy of books by Richard Morgan. The three books, in order of when they happen in the time-line, are Altered Carbon, Broken Angels, Woken Furies.

Kovacs is ridiculous! He freaking scales a wet cliff wall with nothing but his bare hands and feet, then proceeds to dismantle an entire complex devoted to protecting Konrad Harlan, Owner of a planet, and even kills a clone of himself. Dude is unstoppable. 'Nuff said!
