(( so this is my first character, hope you like, I don't know if those star things'll show up but there were too many of them and I was too lazy to get rid of them, I really don't think they'll be a bother. As a side not, I was wondering if a custom art was allowed when first starting, if so , I'd like to change, if not that's fine.))

[/li][li]Character Name::Vega
[/li][li]Class: Tribal Grappler
[/li][li]Characters apparent Age: 20
[/li][li]Characters Gender:Male
[/li][li]Characters Hair Color: His hair resembles the hair-do of a mad scientist. It looks as though it had never met with a comb before, twisted here and there, a curl or two and a lot of frizz makes up the mane atop his head; a mishmash explosion of silver and black.
[/li][li]Characters Eye Color: Green and blue (heterochromia)( left and right respectively)
[/li][li]Character Height: 6’5
[/li][li]character Weight: 198 lb.
[/li][li]character Clothing Style: Vega wears a black trench coat. The bottom of it splits down the middle to give it two tails, but the main feature of the jacket is the sleeves. His arms are always held behind his back with a series of buckles belts and chains. His arms are locked into position behind him. The sleeves are longer than usual and the rim of each is metallic and able to lock into a latch located on the back of the coat. His pants are loose, dirty brown, and frayed bottoms with a great number of stitches in them with a few patches sewn on in varying patterns (from polka dot to stripes). Atop his head is a worn, black top hat. The hat has a slight bend in it, leaning to the left. Within the hat, on the inside of the roof of it is a small hook, hanging from the hook is a small tea cup he carries with him every where, and by some miracle has kept balanced there even in the most hazardous situations (her name’s Ginger). Also, Vega does not wear shoes, or socks for that matter.
[/li][li]Character Physical Traits: He is rather tall and sinewy. Due to his lack of footwear his soles are highly callused. He rarely stands up straight, and is more often than not seen slouching heavily. Because of his immobilized hands, he has adapted to using his feet to grip and hold things (a demi-monkey foot if you will).
[/li][li]Characters Personality: Vega is eccentric to say the least, and insane to say the most. Perhaps it’s more a nice combination of both, teetering a bit towards mad. He doesn’t like the feel of shoes, fearing they will swallow his feet, thus he goes barefoot. He doesn’t like having his eyes closed together. Even a brief second of blindness is too much to bear, and thus he blinks one eye at a time in varying patterns. When it comes to sleeping he avoids it for as long as he can until his body forces him to. Another implication of the sleep loss is his motor skills; he often becomes sluggish when he’s gone far too long without sleep, but is right as rain when he wakes up from a well-needed rest (though he doesn’t realize that’s what it was, more like a very long blink). He believes he was gifted with a lovely singing voice, but he wasn’t, and he is under the false impression that he can whistle. Though crazed, his mind is quite sharp and he is very clever.
Because of his real bodies delusions he believes in many fictitious aspects from other games as being part of ‘The World’. Unlike most players goals as being “ becoming strong,”, “the greatest swordsman”, or the like, Vega instead is in search of legendary artifacts, at the moment he is in search of the Master Sword, the Sands of Time, and similar items taken from entirely different games that he is convinced exist in the world.
[/li][li]Fighting Style:Vega thoroughly enjoys fighting, so much so that he waters himself down when in combat(think Zaraki). He has based his fighting style on the use of his feet only. His main weapon, and mostly potent is his arms, but he uses those only on the opponents he deems ‘worthy’. He is quite speedy in battle, attacking with rapid, powerful blows, aimed to disorient foes, not necessarily kill them. He enjoys a good blow to the head every now and again ( preferably the enemies head), but he also targets the gut, knocking the wind out of a person's just as funny as knocking it out of a whoopee-cushion ( more like an auto-inflating cushion).
Vega likes to mix things up and be creative in battle, thus he has no real set fighting style, the only predictable thing about his fighting is the arts he uses(only cause they can't be constantly changing). He likes to come in fast and come in hard, but he is rarely the first to attack, he likes to get the most out of each encounter, let the enemy formulate a plan, first. Another reason he has an ever shifting fighting style (besides him being coo coo) is to keep the enemy guessing, if they could guess what was coming next then that could very well give them the upper hand, and could very well shorten the battle, and that's just unacceptable.
[/li][li]Strengths: The title sums it up, Vega is incredibly strong, and that is by far his greatest stat. Following that would be his speed/agility. His speed is mainly in movement ,but he is good at dodging to make up for his low defense. Summary: Very strong, quite fast.
[/li][li]Weaknesses: As a tribal grappler he does not have a very high defense, he has a very low spell resistance. He doesn’t have as much SP as the average Tribal Grappler and thus can’t use arts very much.Summary: Low defense (both physical and spell wise), limited use of arts.
.Art/Spell Information|:.
[/li][li]Arts: Shishi ren geki- rapid attack
[/li][li]Spells: n/a
.Weapon Information|:.
[/li][li]Weapon Name:”Bishop Madness” and “Vermillion Agony”
[/li][li]Weapon Type: hold and release?
[/li][li]Weapon Appearance: his weapons are his two handy-dandy arms. The strange thing is they are both a dark purple color. The veins are much larger and perfectly visible, they also pulsate with an eerie white glow. (if you’ve ever played Bioshock, just imagine the electro shock ability but with purple skin)
[/li][li]Weapon Abilities: His weapons affect is simple but potent: a substantial increase in the striking power of his arms and removes the capacity of pain in his arms. The weapons can be released separately or simultaneously. The strength increase is very substantial, with both arms he could likely pick up a small bus. To balance out that kind of power his weapons are as mad as he is. Over a period of posts ( ten posts for Bishop Madness and 7 posts for Vermillion Agony) the weapons will slowly begin to turn on him, at first these are seen as only minor occasional spasms.Once it reaches the post limit, the weapons will turn on their master, retaining their substantial strength. He can reduce the effective post count for this by restraining his arms again and returning himself to normal strength.
For every 2 posts his arms are sealed , the effective length of the release of the weapon is reduced by one. So if he used it for 5 posts, then sealed them and didn't use them for 4, if he reengaged it it would be as if he had only used it for 3.
.Character Background Information|:.
[/li][li]Friends:Pluton, and any other members of “Scope”
[/li][li]Enemies:Any fool-hearty enough to harm Ginger (his tea-cup). This includes emotional damage (she’s porcelain and thus sensitive).
[/li][li]History: Vega has been traversing the world for quite some time now, and has loved nearly every minute of it. Through his extended time there he has been in a great many battle, but has made sure to extend them as long as possible, being the adrenaline junky he was and is (that’ll kinda cover the fact that he’s not like a level 30 or whatever). Now the whole time he has been logging in he has searched and searched for the long lost artifacts he believes reside somewhere in ‘The World’. Rather than a reasonable goal like the Twilight Key for example, Vega searches for The Master Sword, The Varia suit, and The Sands of Time, just to name a few ( along with the red and white mushrooms which form giants). Vega had been devote in his searching, but he was beginning to lose hope after so much failure, that was until he met a guild of sorts. He met a man by the name of Pluton who took an interest in Vega’s eccentricities and asked him to join his group, but somehow Vega interpreted this offer as an offer to be a guide to his finding of his precious items. Thus, Vega accepted immediately and has been venturing with the group ever since. As a practiced PKer beforehand, Vega was not opposed to killing human players, and even though it seemed as though he was not growing any nearer to his prizes he still enjoyed the time spent with the guild. Vega has grown quite fond of Pluton and sees him as a brother, literally. He aims to be a member of Pluton’s party as often as he can, and the two of them make a devastating combination. When he wasn’t paired with Pluton, or when his ally was in the arena, Vega would usually venture off on his own through the innumerable levels in “The World” searching for his trophies and as many fights along the way.

[/li][li]Eye Color: Blue
[/li][li]Height: 5’12
[/li][li]Weight:123 lb.s
[/li][li]Clothing Style: Brody almost always wears a hospital gown(except for when he ventures outdoors…usually). He received the gown when he was hospitalized for mal-nourishment some time ago
[/li][li]Physical Traits: Brody is a rather light weight man and his body is quite frail looking from inactivity. Many of his bones are quite visible and his skin is tightly stretched over his veins. He has a pale complexion coupled with an overly hairy body; as seen on his arms, legs and chest.
[/li][li]Personality: Brody has become paranoid, and very cautious outside ‘The World’. He fears any direct human contact. The one thing he has kept with him from his original life is his acting ability, as he still plays a beautiful role online. In fact, people don’t even realize what a pitiful wreck he is in reality.
.Biographical Information|:.
[/li][li]Parents: Rick and Evy O’Connel
[/li][li]Siblings: Alex O’Connel (brother)
[/li][li]Relatives: none that he remembers
[/li][li]History: Brody is a very strict method actor. In fact in the real world he’s quite famous, or at least was until he discovered “The World”. He saw the game as a perfect test of his acting prowess. In the world he could create his very own character instead of having to mirror someone else’s. ‘The World’ is just a huge gathering of actors to him. As a method actor, though, he gets into his roles very deeply. Unfortunately he dove too deeply into his character on ‘The World’ and now sees the two worlds in reverse. He thinks of the online one as reality and the offline as a game or a dream. In truth he does, every once in awhile. venture from his virtual safe-haven to fetch food for his weak body, but this only happens at the point of starvation, where his basest instincts tell him to enter the dream state and feed (like our bodies tell us that we need sleep, same sort of thing). Over time he has almost entirely become his character, and this has done horrors for his mind, which is clearly shown in Vega’s actions and behavior ( as a side note, considering he no longer sees it as a game, he doesn’t know about emails and the like) When he escaped the hospital for the first time, he brought with him an I.V. Using this I.V. he receives total parenteral nutrition, giving him the vitamins and nutrients he needs to survive. Using this device he can maximize his time online. Every once in a while, during his dream food-quests he will purposely get himself taken to the hospital (still for mal-nutrition) and while there he will stock up on more of the nutrition bags, as well as a new gown, and return to his home (which is in a undisclosed location, making him very difficult to track). Also, though he sees ‘The World’ as reality, he still has fragments of memories from his old life jumbled within his brain like shrapnel from a grenade. Anyway, because of this, subconsciously his body knows it’s a game and has associated all games together as one (all part of reality). In other words there are bits and pieces of other games he’s played that he believes to be real as well.

[/li][li]Sample RP The party of three had practically conquered the whole level and were now entering the ruins which held their prize. A woman with long flowing robes walked in front and behind her stood a man with two short blades in each hand and a man with a massive blade dragging behind him. The trio exited the long entrance hallway and entered a large room. The twin blade aimed a dirty look towards the man with the big sword because of all the racket his sword was making, dragging on the floor like that. Goff, would you pick that damn thing up, your making so much noise every monster in the whole temple’ll already know we’re hear!
Oh, common, don’t tell me you’re scared of a few weak monsters, we’ll be in and outta here faster than you can say-
Both of you shut it! Said the woman in front (clearly the leader). The big room seemed to be aesthetic mainly, with an intricate mosaic on the floor and exquisite tapestries adorning the walls. The group quickly passed through the room and climbed a steep flight of stairs. Once the reached the top the big man was out of breath and quite frustrated. Alright, lets just take the damn treasure and get outta here. Luckily their prize was made quite obvious by the layout of the room. As always, the great beast stature floated behind it and it sat there atop an altar. With a smirk the big man raced over to the oddly shaped altar. It had a strange sort of ramp shape in the front with a pedestal at the top, where the treasure sat. The big man rushed up the ramp and grasped the item and just like out of an Indiana Jones movie, the pedestal sank into the floor. Hmmmm? The big man said to himself as he heard a rumbling. Before he could say another word he was crushed by a huge boulder, which fell from the ceiling. Bahahahah! Laughed the man who stood on top of the ball. His arms were held behind his back and he had a bent top hat on. I’d run if I were you, little white pins, or else the dung beetle’s great bowling ball will make you into delicious pancakes. As he said this, the great sphere rolled onto the ramp in the altar and towards the remaining two party members. The woman had just enough time to turn around, trip on her long robes and be flattened by the huge orb. The twin blade, clearly a cautious fellow, had begun running as soon as his ally had removed the item from the pedestal. He was partway down the stairs when he felt the shaking in the floor as the rock tumbled towards him, with the crazed man riding on top (racing backwards, like the logdrivers do). The cackled as he pursued the man. At the base of the stairs, a pit opened up in the floor, but the twin blade had his head looking at the boulder as he ran, rather than ahead. Uh-oh, Mr.Floor’s givin a big yawn. Just as the boulder caught up with the Twinblade, it, it’s rider and the chased man, tumbled into the deep blackness. The cackling could be heard growing fainter and fainter from the abyss.
